Description Molded felt face doll, felt body with articulated limbs. Doll wears a Salvation Army uniform with blue shield pin, straw bonnet, black socks and white pantaloons.

This molded felt face doll is quite spectacularly dressed. Her dress and bonnet are of the style worn during the 1920s and 1930s by Salvation Army officers. She is also fully jointed at the shoulders, hips and neck. While it is unknown what company made this special doll, similar dolls were made by Lenci, Madam Alexander and other fine doll manufacturers.
